There is nothing more powerful in you than the innate inner guidance system that you possess. Let’s call this your “inner Sherpa.” Like all Sherpas, the work of your inner Sherpa is to guide you up the mountain. In this case, the mountain of life.

Like all mountains, there are ravines and valleys, cliffs and plateaus, and pinnacles. And as you are discovering each day, evolutionary life is not designed to be easy, and yet your journey up the mountain can be made increasingly easeful when you allow yourself to be guided by your inner Sherpa.

Inner Guidance Never Fails

Think of your inner Sherpa as an aspect of Divine intelligence that resides within the higher reaches of your mind (in your super-conscious mind). Its work is to provide you with wisdom, insight, knowledge, and vision so that you may transcend to ever-higher levels of personal progress and experience.

You can also think of your inner Sherpa like a faithful companion, one that never fails you, one that is never absent, and one that knows only your highest good. It is your inner Sherpa who holds in store for you a greater picture of reality existence, and a blueprint of how your life can unfold when you tap into its innate wisdom.

But like with all Sherpas, the moment that we think we can do it on our own, we tend to shrug off its presence and make a go of it. “I’ve got this,” we tell ourselves (or at least our ego does). And we may seem to, at least for a time, as the quiet voice of our inner Sherpa gets relegated to the back burner and tuned out.

You Are Never Alone

Yet despite our belief that we can navigate through life without its support, in reality, that is not possible. For our inner Sherpa resides within our mind, and is ceaselessly capable of transmitting to us in wakefulness or sleep, thoughts, images, concepts and energies that support us to make better decisions and to perceive ever more as our inner guidance system perceives.

How is that? As the eyes of the Divine. For our inner Sherpa is like a fragment of the Divine residing within us. So close, so personal, so utterly attuned to our real needs. How can we ever hope to reach the pinnacle of life without its guidance?

Take time today to sit in stillness and open your mind to your innate inner guidance system. Allow it to flood your mind with whatever you are needing to navigate through the day – to create as you desire, to relate or connect as you desire, to achieve or rest as you desire.

The more you build a conscious connection with your inner Sherpa, the more you find your mind wants to think and perceive in this way. And a slow, gradual unity process begins, where your evolutionary mind meets infinite mind and begins to reflect more and more its beauty, grace, wisdom, and potential.
